Includes
enrollment in both PUPPY KINDERGARTEN and ADVANCED PUPPY
classes. This two-part format consists of two, six week group
classes, for a total of 12 weeks of comprehensive training &
socialization.
Puppy
Kindergarten (6 weekly lessons): Each
class session includes supervised play with other puppies, an introduction to
basic obedience skills (sit, stay, come, loose leash
walking, drop it, and leave it), solutions to common puppy
problems (potty
training, biting, chewing, jumping up, and more...), and
socialization to new people and places. Every week, we
play a game of "pass the puppy" to actively familiarize
your puppy with people of all ages. We insist that puppies
have a positive experience with other dogs and people - we don't
allow bullying and we strive to keep puppies within their own
individual comfort zone at all times.
For puppies 8 weeks to 5 months of age (up to 6 months for small
breed puppies)
Advanced
Puppy (6 weekly lessons): Continuation
of the skills learned in Puppy Kindergarten. More puppy
playtime and continued socialization with people and places. Class
adds a higher level of distraction and difficulty to basic
obedience skills and introduces new, more advanced skills.
Includes field trips, games, and agility obstacle training.
This is a great class for adolescent dogs, who often begin to pay
less attention to their owners, ignore commands, and revert back to
their previous puppy habits.
For puppies/adolescent dogs from 4-10 months old
The Complete
Puppy Program is offered in our Open
Enrollment format. This means that you can start Puppy
Kindergarten at any time, and then attend for six consecutive
weeks. Then, you can either go right into Advanced Puppy for
another six consecutive weeks, or take a short break and start
Advanced Puppy when it is convenient for you. 12
weeks of class for $160
($20 savings vs. paying for each class separately)
