Dog
Training Clicker
This is an indispensable tool
for obedience training and problem solving because your dog learns that the noise it
makes is associated with a food treat. It will help your dog
learn simple to complex behaviors faster and with more precision.

Gentle
Leader Headcollar
Where the nose goes, the body follows. That's why head halters are
used on horses, it takes very little strength to control a large
animal by the head versus the neck. With the Gentle Leader
Headcollar, if your dog tries to pull ahead, his nose and head
will turn back to look at you, making it
virtually impossible for him to drag you down the street. It
provides immediate, humane control that eliminates pulling and
lunging on the leash.

Easy
Walk Harness
The Easy Walk Harness is a front attachment harness that is
designed to gently discourage your dog from pulling while walking
on a leash. It works similarly to the Gentle Leader Headcollar.
And, it’s easy to use, and requires virtually
no acclimation period or specialized training.

Treat Pouch
Can’t keep your dog away from
the pocket you put all those treats in? After years of treat
handling inconvenience, renowned dog trainer Terry Ryan designed
this treat pouch. In addition to creating quick and easy access to
treats, the pouch closes with a touch, and stays closed, keeping
dog noses out! |
 |
Long
Training Leash
A sturdy twenty foot leash is an
essential item as it allows you to work on commands such as
"come" and "stay" at a distance and around
distractions, but in a completely controlled manner. |

Kong
Dog Toy
These virtually indestructible
toys are a must for any puppy owner, as they can be stuffed with
canned dog food, soft cheese, peanut butter (my favorite!),
yogurt, and treats for hours of chewing enjoyment and mental
stimulation.
|
|
Buster
Cube
This an another type of mentally
stimulating dog toy that can keep your dog occupied for a
substantial period of time, plus it allows your dog to use his own
natural working instincts if you fill it with his regular dog
food. The food is slowly dispensed from the cube as your dog
pushes and rolls it about.

Bells Teach your dog to
ring a bell to let you know when they need to go outside. My dogs ring the bell every time they need to use the restroom
outside. Training for most dogs is relatively simple -
simply ring the bell just before opening the door to let your dog
outside. In a few weeks, your dog will start ringing the
bell on his/her own. In some cases, especially if your dog
is initially unsure of the bell, you can use food treats to
reward them for touching the bell and then progress from there.

Fleabusters This
is an all natural flea control product. Once per year, I
sprinkle this product on my carpet, brush it in with a push broom,
and my household is 100% flea free. I do not use any other
products to control fleas in my home. I would swear by this
stuff!

Bitter
Apple
This is another must for puppy
owners! Bitter Apple is a non-toxic, but awful tasting, deterrent
that can be sprayed on just about anything -- from wood to carpet
to furniture to children's toys to human hands -- and it deters
your dog from chewing on these items.

Training Crate
A sturdy crate that allows for
maximum visibility is a great tool for containing a puppy
when you cannot supervise them, during the night hours, or when
you are away from home for short periods of time. Crates
tend to cut housebreaking time in half, and can help solve
behavior problems such as chewing, digging, and barking.
